tension is passion

i was in a very good mood yesterday. to make it better, a friend of mine asked if i want any english novels; which i was, can i say, mengidam macam perempuan mengandung lima anak for these past torturing months in this island.
*note: malang takde english novels, not even one. sigh.

well, it reminds me of one incident that occured during the past holiday in malaysia.

1. TKP ( tempat kejadian perkara, kot, kalau tak salah) : MPH in shah alam.

me: abang, twilight ada tak?
abg: twilight habis. dik.
me: ow, yang lain? new moon? eclipse?
abg: semua habis dik. stock baru datang minggu depan.

2. TKP: POPULAR in alor star:

i did found twilight books in the 'latest' section. but, only twilight. not the others.

me: kak, new moon ada?
kak: buku apa tu?
me: novel english. dia sekali dengan twilight.
kak: sorry lah dik. taktau la pulak.
me: takpa. twilight ni sampai bila?
kak: baru sampai semalam.

kejadian di shah alam was before in alor star. kat shah alam dah habis, kat alor star tak sampai pun lagi.
moral of the story: dont blame others kenapa negeri kau tak maju, dah tak membaca, camna la nak maju. kedah maju 2010. benar kah??

p/s: if im not mistaken, survey mengatakan bahawa malaysians only read 1 book per year. buku gempak starz la kot. takpun mangga.

pp/s: lagi satu survey mengatakan bahawa if malaysia's economy n political problems is lagging as in rite now, indonesia akan menjadi negara maju before malaysia. padahal the population's ratio is like berganda-ganda. fikir-fikirkanlah.

ppp/s: i am a proud kedahan, but only in certain circumstances.
